The Louis Braille Trophy 2026 – 2nd State-Level Adapted Volleyball Tournament, organized by Lit The Light Trust, was successfully held at A M Jain College Indoor Stadium, Chennai, bringing together 13 teams from across Tamil Nadu.
The event celebrated inclusion, resilience, and sporting excellence, with visually challenged athletes showcasing remarkable talent and determination throughout the tournament.
The tournament was graced by eminent dignitaries, sports leaders, and corporate representatives who appreciated the efforts of the athletes and emphasized the importance of inclusive sports initiatives.
A special highlight of the event was the Blind Judo Demonstration by national and international visually challenged players, which inspired the audience and added great value to the program.
The event successfully reinforced the importance of adaptive sports and inclusive opportunities for visually challenged athletes.

Lit The Light Trust , in association with the Goalball Association of Tamil Nadu, successfully conducted a Goalball Workshop for Visually Impaired Athletes on 17th May 2026 at SDAT Indoor Stadium , Nehru Park, Chennai.
💙 44 visually impaired children and athletes from various districts across Tamil Nadu actively participated in this inclusive sports initiative.

Lit The Light Diwali 2025” Celebration with Visually Challenged Friends
Dharmapuri, October 18, 2025:
Lit The Light Trust organized the “Lit The Light Diwali 2025” celebration at Rotary Hall, Dharmapuri, bringing festive joy to visually challenged friends and their families.
Around 80 visually challenged families received Diwali gift hampers worth ₹2,500 each, including new clothes, sweets, snacks, and groceries. Motivational sessions and counselling programs were also held.
The Louis Braille Trophy 2025, a State-Level Volleyball Tournament for the Visually Challenged, was successfully organized by Lit The Light Trust in association with BBSA on 18th May 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru Outdoor Stadium, Chennai.
The tournament brought together 110+ visually challenged athletes from 12 districts across Tamil Nadu, creating a powerful platform that celebrated talent, teamwork, resilience, and inclusive sportsmanship. Teams competed with extraordinary energy and determination, proving that ability goes far beyond disability.
The event was graced by Thiru. Bandi Gangadhar IPS, Thiru. Balanagendran D (ICS), and Mrs. Nanmullai Ganesan, whose presence and inspiring words motivated the athletes and audience alike.

We celebrated the New Year with visually impaired daily vendors through a joyful cake-cutting event. Since 2025, we have been proud to provide livelihood support to 25 visually impaired daily vendors working in local trains.
